What is Access Academy?

The Access Academy is a skills development programme for the people we support in SOS Kilkenny. It is co-designed by students to provide the skills, knowledge and experience to find paid meaningful employment in Kilkenny.

At the Access Academy, you will identify your chosen career path through job tasters and work placements. You will learn the knowledge and practical skills necessary to find and progress in employment.

Using our industry standard culinary training centre and fully functioning radio station, you will learn practical and transferrable skills, including communication skills, teamworking skills and problem solving skills.
